Anaheim ICDC Recap

The guys did a great job with their business proposal but fell short of the final round.  As a result, they had the opportunity to spend some time on Huntington Beach instead (not a bad consolation prize!).

Sun Staff Report
Bloomberg News was reporting late Thursday that just minutes before the bombs blew up, Jeff Bauman, 27, of Chelmsford saw one of the men believed to be suspects up close just before the blast.
Quoting Bauman's brother, Chris, Bloomberg reported that Bauman was in the crowd waiting for his girlfriend to cross the finish line. A man wearing a cap, sunglasses and a black jacket over a hooded sweatshirt looked at Bauman, 27, and dropped a bag at his feet, his brother, Chris Bauman said.
Two and a half minutes later, the bag exploded, the news agency reported, ripping Jeff's legs apart. Both had to be amputated.
"He woke up under so much drugs, asked for a paper and pen and wrote, 'bag, saw the guy, looked right at me,'" Chris Bauman said in an interview.
While still in intensive care, Jeff Bauman gave the FBI a description of the man he saw, his brother said. Bauman's information helped investigators narrow down whom to look for in hours of video of the attack, he said.

Bucks For Bauman

Hi guys,

On Monday, a great guy I went to high school with in Chelmsford lost both his legs in the blast.  He was saved by a peace activist wearing a cowboy hat named Carlos Arrendondo.  Jeff Bauman Jr. is doing much better but will have a long road ahead.  Please see the following link to donate to his cause.

Nashoba DECA Donates to NEADS

Nashoba DECA students recently held a fundraising event at one of our basketball games.  Two DECA members, Abigail Jacaruso and Brittany Joseph, organized the entire event.  They set up a table to collect donations, prepared cookies and cupcakes to sell, and sold 50/50 raffle tickets to raise the money.  Besides raising money, the two students also raised awareness through social media on Facebook and Twitter. They did a phenomenal job and Nashoba DECA is proud to help such a great cause.  Nashoba DECA will be presenting NEADS with a check for $350.00!  Great job!

For more on NEADS, check out www.neads.org/  or follow them on Twitter: @NEADSdogs
